Testimonials
“I have had the pleasure of working with the Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau for the past 5 years. They are very professional and provide a service that is very helpful. I was not aware of all the benefits of working with a Convention & Visitors Bureau until the Lisle CVB introduced themselves to me. My eyes were opened to what a wonderful resource they are and how much they can help with the meeting planning process. I now look to Convention Visitor Bureaus in other areas of the country. Convention & Visitors Bureaus are now my first call whenever I am planning a meeting.”

“A Dynamic Team
The Regional Council Meeting of Blacks In Government (BIG), Region V was held October 12-13, 2007 at the Hyatt Hotel in Lisle, IL. The New Kemet Harambe Chapter of Blacks In Government, as the host, worked with the Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau as a dynamic team in the preparation of this meeting, which we believe was taken to the next level in meeting planning and hospitality excellence. The weekend meeting began with a dinner musical show on Friday evening in tribute to the Chicago Blues Brothers, continued with small business exhibitors, including corporate sponsors who lined the ballroom foyer on Saturday morning, and the general membership meeting, consisting of council representatives from IL, IN, MI, OH, and WI, which was held all day on Saturday.
The Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau cosponsored the Saturday afternoon luncheon in the hotel's beautiful lobby area, which also featured live jazz entertainment by the Frank Menzies Jazz Trio, featuring the meeting coordinator, Ethel Crisp, CMP as the trio's soloist. On Saturday evening, the Bureau also provided creative suggestions to promote the Host Chapter's Annual Educational Fundraiser and Scholarship Event, which featured live band entertainment, singers and dancers, door prizes, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. This was a tremendous success. It was evident by the numerous complimentary remarks received by Region V BIG members, the exhibitors, the hotel staff, and even some of the guests in the hotel that this was a top-notch and well-organized meeting. Kudos to all of the Lisle CVB for their exceptional and creative assistance and teamwork efforts in making this meeting an outstanding event for BIG. Well Done, Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau, you're the BEST!”
